Pancha Karma Therapist

Paula Scarborough, MA, has been helping people heal for almost two decades. She is a long time yoga and meditation practitioner with certifications in yoga, massage therapy, herbal medicine, and a MA in Counseling Psychology. She was blessed to study with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute where she completed the year long course in lifestyle counseling and later worked in the Pancha Karma department for more that three years. Her hands-on healing approach is intuitive, inquisitive, nurturing and empowering.


Ayurvedic Educator

Jennifer Workman, M.S., R.D. is a graduate of New York University with a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. She is a consultant to the complementary medical industry, the whole/organic foods industry, and the spa and fitness industry. She has worked in the health and fitness field for 15 years, specializing in sports nutrition and Ayurveda.
Ms. Workman has been rated one of the top 10 experts to help you revamp your diet (Harper's Bazaar, 9/98). She is a registered dietician working with the Ayurvedic principles of health and balance. She has a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from NYU and she is an adjunct professor of Sports Nutrition for the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Jennifer is certified by The International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in Performance Nutrition and Fitness training. She is a Continuing Education Provider for The American Dietetic Association (ADA), ISSA, and the American Council on Exercise (ACE), The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) to teach the basic principles of complementary and Ayurvedic nutrition to Western clinical dietitians/nutritionists and fitness professionals. Jennifer is also in the process of being certified by the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda in Ayurvedic Medicine. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, the Sports and Cardiovascular Nutritionists Dietetic Practice Group (DPG), Vegetarian Nutrition group, and Environmental and World Hunger and DPG.
